Join us for an afternoon of beautiful music featuring ZSQ's "Side by Side" audition winner, Ethan Bu, violin. Also on the program are L.V. Beethoven's glorious String Quartet, Op.59 No. 1 in F Major, and C. Debussy's String Quartet Op. 1o in G minor.

Meet this program's "Side by Side" audition winner, violinist Ethan Bu.

We selected Ethan as our "Side by Side" audition winner for his diligent and mature preparation, excellent musicality and skill, and precise interpretation. We are looking forward to working with him!
In his own words:
Ethan was born and raised in Andover MA. He is currently an 8th-grade student at West Middle School. Ethan has been learning the violin since the age of six and is currently studying with Mrs. Roksana Sudol. He became a member of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Junior Repertoire Orchestra in fall 2025. In addition to violin, Ethan enjoys fencing, piano, math, and spending time with his older brother and friends.
